Two mates were passing through the lanes
Chattering and chattering and enjoying the rain
While passing by a block
Near a spring full of flocks
The mates encountered a serene maid
Stopped beside her to pass appraise
“Oh! beautiful angel”, exclaimed the first
“You are sweet as the winter sun,
The crystal skin, the hazel eyes,
Those long curls attracted my sight.”
“Oh! My princess”, exclaimed the other
“You are so kind, with motherly love
This beautiful smile, the depth in the eyes,
The kindness to the injured bird by your side
This has left me enchanted, my lady
I’m pleased to come across by.”
“My lady we’ll take your leave”
Said the first with a greet
“But we’ll be glad to hear some words
From the lips of a maiden so sweet”
To this, the maiden replied the first
“I’m delighted to receive praise,
The beauty you talked about is a short-lived reign,
But the beauty he looked upon is eternal that remains.”
Receiving the reply, greetings were exchanged
And the two mates were passing through lanes.
